SAIL is one of the largest steel-making enterprises in the country. SAIL stands for Steel Authority of India Limited. SAIL has launched a scheme named SAIL Pension Scheme for its ex-employees. The pension scheme launched by SAIL for its ex-employees has been approved by the Ministry of Steel and officials of SAIL, following which guidelines regarding the scheme have been issued by the Department of Public Enterprises.

SAIL Pension Scheme
SAIL Pension Scheme is issued by SAIL Authority as per the guidelines of the Department of Public Enterprises, Government of India. This pension scheme has been started with the approval of the Ministry of Steel and SAIL Board, under which financial assistance will be provided in the form of pension to the former employees of the Ministry of Steel and SAIL Board.
Through this scheme, the beneficiary employees will become financially strong and will be able to live their life easily without depending on anyone. To take advantage of this pension scheme implemented by SAIL, candidates have to apply online, for which the officials of SAIL have also launched an official portal.

The objective of the SAIL Pension Scheme
SAIL Pension Scheme was launched by the Steel Authority of India. Under this pension scheme, SAIL will provide financial assistance in the form of pension to its ex-employees, so that the beneficiary employee can easily lead his life without being dependent on anyone. Through this scheme, the beneficiary ex-employees will become financially strong and self-reliant.

Beneficiaries Covered under SAIL Pension Scheme
- Executives (including Management trainees) on rolls of the Company on or after 01.01.2007 (including those appointed at the Board level)
- Non-Executives (including trainees recruited for eventual employment) on rolls of the Company on or after 01.01.2012.

what are Eligibility Criteria?
- The applicant should have at least 15 years of service and superannuation from the company.
- Death/PTD/Medical invalidity for termination of service – irrespective of the period of service rendered
what are Important Documents?
- Aadhaar Card of the ex-employee/nominee
- PAN Card
- Death certificate of ex-employee/employee in case of deceased
- Ex-Employee/Employee colored passport Size photo
- Proof of deposit of Voluntary Contribution, if any.
- Canceled Bank Cheque having the name of the Ex-Employee/nominee printed on it
- Valid Phone Number
- Active Email Id
How to Apply Online & Download Application Form PDF?
You can complete the registration process for SAIL Pension Yojana by following the steps given below-
- First, visit the Official Website of SAIL.
- The home page will open.
- On the homepage, Now click on the SAIL Pension option.
- Now a new page will open.
- On this new page, you have to click on the Registration option.
- Now, complete your registration by entering all the required information asked to activate the annuity, such as:- SAIL Personnel Number, Kadai, Bank Account Number, Email, Mobile, and Aadhar Number details.
- Now you have to print the annuity application form, attach all the necessary documents asked for and submit it to your personnel or nodal officer.
- You can then log into the pension portal to view the details of the company’s contribution along with your pension account.

- The home page will open.
- On the homepage, Now click on the SAIL Pension option.
- Now a new page will open.
- On this new page, click on the employee login option.
- After this, enter the details of your username (PAN number) and date of birth.
- Now click on the sign-in option, after which you can log in.
