The Post-Matric Scholarship 2023:- Scheme for Education of Scheduled Tribe Children, Arunachal Pradesh 2023 is an initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India to provide financial assistance to students of class 11 and above. In this article, we will share all the important details related to this scholarship like eligibility criteria, important documents, etc.

Post-Matric Scholarship 2023
Umbrella Scholarship which is started by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India for ST students. This scholarship covers vocational, technical as well as non-professional and non-technical courses at various levels, including correspondence courses covering distance and continuing education. Selected candidates will receive a maintenance allowance of Rs 1,200 and other benefits.

Benefits of Post-Matric Scholarship
The selected scholars will get the following benefits –
- Fees for enrolment/registration, tuition, games, Union, Library, Magazine, Medical Examination, and other fees are compulsorily payable by the scholar to the Institution or University/Board.
- Study tours charge up to a maximum of INR 1,600 per annum.
- Thesis typing and printing charges up to a maximum of INR 1,600 for the research scholars.\
- Additional allowances to the ST students with disabilities at the prescribed rates for different degrees of disability.
- Annual allowance of INR 1,200 for essential/prescribed books, besides reimbursement of course fees to correspondence course students.
- Maintenance allowance as mentioned below –

1,200 550 Group 2 a) Graduate/ Postgraduate courses leading to Degree, Diploma, Certificate in areas like Pharmacy (B Pharma), Nursing (B Nursing), LLB, BFS, other para-medical branches like rehabilitation, diagnostics etc., Mass Communication, Hotel Management & Catering, Travel/Tourism/Hospitality Management, Interior Decoration, Nutrition & Dietetics, Commercial Art, Financial Services (e.g. Banking, Insurance, Taxation etc.) for which entrance qualification is minimum Sr. Secondary (10+2) b) Postgraduate courses that are not covered under Group-I (e.g. M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./ M. Ed./M. Pharma etc.)

Eligibility Criteria For Post-Matric Scholarship
- Scholarships are paid to students whose parents’/guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh per annum.
- All children of the same parents/guardian are eligible.
- Scheduled Tribe candidates who have passed the matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination of a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education are eligible.
- The scholarships are available for the study of all recognized post-matriculation or postsecondary courses in recognized institutions except certain identified training courses like Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Courses, Private Pilot Licence courses, etc.
- Students studying through correspondence courses are eligible.
- Employed students on leave without pay for the entire duration of a full-time course are eligible for the course.
- The scholarship holder under this scheme will not hold any other scholarship/stipend.
- Students who have received coaching in any of the pre-examination training centers with financial assistance from the Government will not be eligible.

- Thesis typing/printing bill (in case of MPhil, Ph.D., D.Litt, D.Pharm, D.Sc students)
- Disability certificate (in case of disabled persons)
- The first page of the bank passbook.
Application Process
To apply for the scholarship you need to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- Go to the official Website of the National Scholarship Portal.
- The homepage of the organization will be displayed.
- Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab.
- A new page will be displayed on your screen.
- The guidelines for the scholarship will be displayed.
- Select the Undertaking checkboxes, and click on the ‘Continue’ button.
- The application form will be displayed on your screen.
- Select the state of domicile and enter the scholarship category, scholarship scheme type, name, gender, DOB, mobile number, and email ID.
- Provide the bank details such as Bank Name, IFSC code, Account number, etc.
- Select the Aadhar number/ Bank account number as identification details
- Click on the ‘Register’ button.
- Verify your mobile number.
- Submit the application.
- After successful completion of the application form, an application ID and password is generated to be used for future reference.
Note – All applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, once submitted no changes can be made. Applicants are advised to fill out only one application as multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of the form.
Fresher Login

- The homepage of the website will be open.
- Now on the homepage, go to the login option.
- Select the Fresh login option along with the login year.
- A new login form will open on the screen.
- Enter the username ID and password.
- Enter the captcha code given on the screen.
- Now click on the login option.
Post-Matric Scholarship Renewal login
- Visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal.
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Now go to the login option from the homepage.
- Select the renewal login option with the login year.
- A new login form will open on the screen.
- Enter your Application ID and Password.
- Enter the captcha code given on the screen.
- Now click on the login option.
- The application renewal form will open on the screen.
- Enter the renewal details in the application form.
- Now click on submit option.
- Your application will be renewed.
Check Scholarship Sanctioned List
- Visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal.
- The homepage of the website will open on the screen.
- Now go to the registration option from the homepage.
- A new page will open on the screen.
- Now Click on the Scholarship-sanctioned List Option.
- A new page will open on the screen.
- Enter the details to be filled in the application form like ministry, state, scholarship type, district, and other details.
- Now click on submit option.
