NDA 2 2022 Exam Pattern

NDA 2022 exam pattern consists of the stages of the NDA exam, mode of exam, duration of the exam, marking scheme, etc. Applicants must go through the exam pattern of NDA 2022 before starting the NDA preparation. As per the NDA exam pattern, the exam is conducted in offline mode. The exam consists of two papers – Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II [General Aptitude Test (GAT)]. The time allotted for each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

There will be a total of 120 questions in Mathematics while there will be a total of 150 questions in GAT. The written exam of NDA (Maths & GAT) will be conducted for a total of 900 marks. The candidates who qualify in the written test will have to appear for the SSB interview round. The SSB interview will be conducted in five days process with a total of 900 marks.

Paper 1 Mathematics Syllabus

Statistics and probability

  • Statistics: Classification of data, frequency distribution, cumulative frequency distribution-examples. Graphical representation-histogram, pie chart, frequency polygon-examples. Measures of central tendency-mean, median, and mode

NDA Exam Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for candidates to appear for the NDA exam 2022 have been decided by UPSC. Candidates applying for the upcoming examination must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria otherwise their candidature will be canceled at any stage. Age Limit

The age limit criteria for the NDA exam 2022 for various courses is between 16.5 to 19.5 years i.e. there is no age relaxation in the NDA exam. Only unmarried candidates who were born not earlier than 02 January 2004 and not later than 01 January 2007 are eligible to apply online for NDA 2 2022 exam.
