Types Of Ration Card
- APL Ration Card: APL Ration Card is also called Yellow Card.
- BPL Ration Card: BPL Ration Card is also called White Card.
- Antyodaya Anna Yojana: Antyodaya Anna is also called Pink Card, This card is issued to those families whose annual income is less than Rs 1 lakhs. Pink Card Holders families get the 35kg rice per month at a price of Rs.2 per kilogram.
- Priority Household Card: This card is issued to those families whose annual income is less than Rs 1 lakhs. Through Priority Household Card each member’s family gets 5kg rice per month at a price of Rs.2 per kilogram after providing a subsidy of Rs 1.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must fulfill the following eligibility criteria while applying for Ration Card:
- Applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
- A person who does not possess a ration card can apply for a ration card.
- New married women can apply for a ration card.
- The annual income of the applicant must be less than rupees 1 lakh.

For New Ration Card
- Detailed particulars of family members.
- Copies of birth certificates of minor members(Below 10 years in age).
- Certified copy of the relevant page of Voter List.
- Copy of Tax Pay / Land Revenue Pays receipt.
- Surrender certificate of Ration Card/Family Identity holding or non-availability certificate from the FCS&CA authority where the applicant previously resided.
- Address Proof (attested copy of PAN Card /Driving License / Bank Passbook / Post Office Passbook /Municipal Holding receipt / Electricity Bill / Telephone Bill).
For Duplicate Ration Card
- Self Declaration
- Police report
For Separate Ration Card
- Surrender Certificate(s) in the original.
- Parental Ration Cards in original.
- Self Declaration.
- Certificate From Village Head/Gaon Panchayat president/Ward Commissioner
- Attested Copies of No Objection Certificate by Head of Family of Parental Ration Card for the inclusion of additional members.
